two years since “yes”

We both had moments today where we felt like we couldn’t do this for another minute. This being-a-parent thing we do - DANG is it hard. No breaks, no sick days, no days off. 

But today more than most, I am grateful for who I do it all with. For the teammate who - even in our exhaustion - can tag-team wordlessly, can take one more step, can help one more time. 

Two years ago we both said “Yes.” We already knew how hard it could be, but we wanted it together. And now we have it.
