the sun came out

The sun came out this week, and it was wonderful. 

We spent it all in our new backyard, exploring and pruning and imagining and building. 

We discovered tadpole eggs in the pond, and added minnows and goldfish. 

We introduced Johnnie to the trampoline (safely!), and he loves to “bouncy bounce.” He asks to go outside by patting his head, and does so constantly. 

We put a rope and ladder in the tree. Lucy said “It’s magical!” 

We pressure washed.

We cut down the big bushes in our front yard, and it looks so much cleaner. 

It’s a dream come true to be building a magical home with our family. I’m so grateful!
