from six to seven

In the midst of the 67 craze (iykyk), we had our own six-year old turning seven!

Every birthday, we do an interview with the kid before they turn their next age. They always look forward to it, and so do we. 

So this week, we interviewed Zinni. We asked about her highlights, about her challenges, about her favorite songs and movies and toys. 

And, as always, when it came time to end the interview, neither Nate nor I could speak. Because ending the interview means saying goodbye.

Goodbye to a year of growth, changes, and learning, goodbye to six. And in so many ways, goodbye to the years of being little as she enters the years of being just a "kid."
