jesus saw the women

Jesus saw the women.

He called to them by name.

He guarded them and praised them for 

the depths of the love they gave.

Jesus saw the women

on His road to Calvary.

Oppression and rejection now 

the common tears they weep. 

Jesus saw the women

brokenhearted at the tomb

and made them first to welcome Him

and enter life anew. 

Jesus sees the women.

He has never looked away.

He calls us, “Come, the last are first.

The servants with me reign.”
