thankful for

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Here’s a simple list of things I am grateful for this season. 

• The best cat ever, Oreo Cookie Hanson

• Kids who still love sitting in my lap (at 7 years old I never take that for granted)

• My mom who carefully and slowly and intentionally builds relationships with my now-daughters

• Finding the perfect Christmas tree 

• My husband who is all of our constant joy and laughter

• In-laws who help our kids make lifetime memories

• A church where our thoughts are welcome and traditions happen 

• Paper snowflakes all over our home’s windows

Life isn’t easy right now; it’s definitely the learning curve season of life that I knew would happen as I adjust to being a parent. But it is wonderful, and every moment is a gift. I am so thankful for so much.
