ghost toys

 

baby dolls untended 

bedrooms still for days

crafts left out half finished 

it’s strange to live this way 

sometimes we leave their lamps on

to feel like someone’s there

we don’t mind all their Barbies 

positioned everywhere 

they’ll be back tomorrow 

the dolls will play once more 

but today we live with ghost toys

left scattered on the floor
