2023 to 2024

Was 2023 the best year yet? Quite possibly. :) 

In January, I went to get our sweet little Lily Belle, who is sitting with her head on my lap as I write this. She’s such a momma’s girl, and I sure love her.

Zinni turned 4 in February! She’s so much fun to be around; we love her silly and cheerful disposition. I’m so grateful for the role I get to play in her life, and for so many days of being together while daddy works and Lucy is at school. 

In March, we found out about the most exciting news! An absolute dream come true.

Easter in April was special, as Nate and I held in the secret of our pregnancy, soaking in these days as a family of four.

May wrapped up soccer season!

We held our first garage sale in June! A lot of work, but a lot of fun.(Pictured, Lucy reading to Lita while we waited for sale-goers.) 

July was full of girl adventures: exploring nature, getting ice cream, and finding creative ways to spend our days together. One of the highlights of my year!

Lucy turned 8 in August! I love this picture of her so much - I can’t believe how much she’s growing, and I love getting to be part of it. She’s matured by leaps and bounds this year, and I love how we both love spending time together.

Back to school in September - Lucy in 3rd grade and Zinni in preschool!

In October, Macaela hosted the most beautiful baby shower as we prepared for baby’s arrival.

Johnnie arrived in November. ♥️ It was so hard getting him here, but there are no words to express the wonder of his new, precious life.

Christmas 2023 - Our hearts are so full!

And so we’ve come to the end of another wonderful, wonderful year. So much growth, so many memories, so much to be grateful for. 2023, thank you. 2024, we’re ready for you!
